Regardless of your specific goals, it can be really helpful to have the support of a training partner. When you surround yourself with people who push you, you will become better.
They do not have to be your best friend or your boyfriend ... they just have to be willing to lend a helping hand or high five when you need one!
I have an amazing training partner and think you should too! We motivate one another and push each other to constantly try to better our training. When it's time to go heavier on the swing or farmer carry, we remind each other. If one of us feels completely SPENT half way through the AMRAP, the other is right there to offer up some motivation or encouraging words. If I lose sight of my goals, he is right there to remind me of them. We give each other an extra push when it's needed. We are there to offer up a cue or give a tip. and it's always fun to snap a #sweatypic, too!

(2) INTENSITY | Your training partner will help push you in a way you never thought possible. If you want to be a lion - train with the lions. When looking for the right partner, it is important that you are work with someone with a similar athletic ability. You will push each other to be a little faster and stronger. Find the right balance here and watch the magic happen!
(3) FORM CHECK, PLEASE | Training partners can offer each other INSTANT feedback on their lifts. Chest up! Tuck your chin! Shoulders down and back! Lock it out! By offering simple cues, training partners can help each other make the most out of their lift. Often times, it is reassuring knowing that they are right there in case you need them!
(4) POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT | Keep your emotions in check and try to leave your drama at the door. This can be challenging but try not to bring negativity into your training environment. Your partner will be influenced by this. Instead, focus on your goals and pushing each other to become more! Stay enthusiastic and positive!
(5) COMMUNITY | Celebrate the victories of yourselves and each other! Did you PR on a lift? Have you finally mastered DUs? Celebrate it - everything is better with friends.
